We offer a full continuum of services delivered in both one-on-one sessions and small-group settings, allowing students to practice skills in personalized, structured environments as well as in social, peer-based interactions. Therapy is available face-to-face on campus and through online/virtual sessions, ensuring consistent access to services that meet each learner’s needs.

    Areas of support may include:

    • expressive and receptive language development

    • functional communication skills

    • articulation and speech sound production

    • augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)

    • social communication and conversational skills

    • pragmatics and peer interaction skills

    • early language and play-based communication strategies

    • comprehension and following multi-step directions

Our goal is to help every student build the communication tools they need to express themselves, connect with others, and participate fully in their learning environment. Through evidence-based practices and collaborative support, our speech team empowers students to find their voice—however it may be expressed.

  • The Occupational Therapy program at Possibility Academy helps students build the foundational skills needed for independence, learning, and daily life. Designed specifically for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, OT services are provided through one-on-one sessions, small-group activities, and integrated classroom support, ensuring interventions are both meaningful and functional.

Our licensed occupational therapists focus on developing:

    • Fine motor and gross motor skills

    • Sensory processing and self-regulation

    • Handwriting and pre-writing skills

    • Activities of daily living (ADLs)

    • Visual-motor and visual-perceptual skills

    • Strength, coordination, and motor planning

Through structured routines, sensory-rich activities, and developmentally appropriate interventions, our OT team helps students gain confidence, improve daily functioning, and better engage in their learning environment.

  • Possibility Academy offers a range of specialized intervention programs designed to meet the diverse learning needs of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other disabilities. Our programs are led by specially trained, licensed Intervention Specialists (I.S. teachers) who are experts in delivering individualized, research-based instruction.

Using targeted interventions, structured teaching strategies, and data-driven methods, our Intervention Specialists support academic skill development, behavioral growth, functional learning, and social-emotional progress. Instruction is customized for each student and delivered in both one-on-one and small-group formats to ensure meaningful, measurable progress.

These specialized programs provide the focused support and expertise necessary to help students overcome challenges, build critical skills, and achieve their fullest potential.

  • At Possibility Academy, our small classroom sizes ensure that every student receives the personalized attention and structured support they deserve. Classrooms are thoughtfully designed based on each student’s Individual Learning Plan, ensuring that academic instruction, behavioral supports, and social-emotional goals align with their unique strengths and needs.

By maintaining intentionally low student-to-teacher ratios, we create calm, responsive environments where students can engage deeply in learning, build relationships, and work toward meaningful progress. Small class sizes also allow our staff to deliver targeted instruction, adapt strategies in real time, and provide individualized interventions throughout the school day.

This personalized, student-centered approach sets the foundation for success—academically, behaviorally, and socially.

  • Possibility Academy is committed to ensuring students have access to the tools they need to learn, explore, and succeed. Our 1:1 technology initiative provides each student with their own device for daily classroom instruction, personalized learning activities, and state testing requirements.

Students are also allowed to take their devices home, ensuring consistency in learning and supporting skills practice across school and home environments. Our technology-rich approach helps students build digital literacy, independence, and readiness for future educational pathways.

  • To support the diverse sensory needs of our students, Possibility Academy offers specialized sensory rooms designed to provide calming, therapeutic spaces. When a student needs a break, time to refocus, or individualized regulation support, these rooms provide a quiet, safe environment equipped with sensory tools, lighting, and activities tailored to promote self-regulation and emotional balance.

These spaces allow students to reset and return to the classroom ready to learn, ensuring their sensory and emotional needs are met throughout the school day.

  • Our curriculum is aligned with national and state academic standards while being carefully adapted to meet the unique needs of students with autism. Each year, our team evaluates and updates curriculum resources to incorporate the latest research, best practices, and evidence-based instructional methods.

Every student’s curriculum plan evolves over time, reflecting their growth, changing needs, and ongoing progress. This dynamic approach ensures that students receive relevant, rigorous, and personalized instruction designed to support meaningful academic and developmental outcomes.
